During last year’s Lahaina Plantation Days, volunteers (from left) Terry Morgan, Iolani Kaniho and Jesse Neizman helped prepare the railroad tracks for the locomotives currently on display near the historic Pioneer Mill Company Smokestack. Lahaina Restoration Foundation seeks volunteers for the 2012 event.

Help is needed to assist with various tasks, including admission, keiki zone, script sales, security, ticket collector and ticket counter.

Volunteers will receive a free commemorative event T-shirt along with $10 in script for each additional shift they sign up for.

To volunteer, sign up online at

www.LahainaRestoration.org/plantationdays or call the Lahaina Restoration Foundation office at 661-3262.

This year's Lahaina Plantation Days will feature a Movie Night on Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the public can enjoy restaurant food booths; a beer and wine garden; coffee tent; keiki carnival games, game booths and horse rides; Portuguese cultural activities and food; a farmers' market; historical displays; plantation exhibits; and island music.
