KAHULUI - Starring Rebelution, Collie Buddz and The Grouch, the Red Star Music Festival is coming to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's Pavilion/Amphitheater on Friday, Sept. 21.
Gates open at 5 p.m., and the show starts at 6 p.m.
California-based reggae band Rebelution formed in 2004. They have released three albums to date, including the latest, "Peace of Mind."
Rebelution has been touring nationwide this year.
Bermuda reggae artist Collie Buddz released his self-titled debut album in 2007, which stormed the charts and entered Billboard's Reggae Chart at the top spot. He soon became an international hit after the album topped charts in every country.
The Grouch is one of the founding members of the internationally infamous group The Living Legends. He has steadily grown into one of the prominent figures in the independent hip-hop scene and has successfully released ten solo projects.
