‘Kokua for Kupuna’ to benefit Hale Makua Health Services

KAHULUI – “Kokua for Kupuna,” Hale Makua Health Services’ signature fundraiser, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 5:30 p.m. at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa.

Maui’s own Eric Gilliom will be performing live, with Kanoa Kukaua of GoMega opening.

Proceeds from this event will benefit kupuna who cannot afford the cost of care at Hale Makua nursing homes.

Now in its 24th year, this event is known for its island hospitality, local entertainment, good fun and festive aloha spirit.

Guests will enjoy an onolicious Hawaiian buffet that includes a variety of fresh salads, lomi lomi salmon, mahi with lemon butter sauce and tropical fruit salsa, hulihuli chicken, kalua pork and a selection of desserts.

Hale Makua Health Services will be honoring Maui Soda & Ice Works for supporting this annual event and helping to make it a continued success.
