WAILEA — “Treasures of the ‘Aina,” the 2011 ‘Ohana Luau fundraiser for Hale Makua Health Services, will be held on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 5:30 p.m. at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa.
Lahaina’s own ‘Ulalena cast will donate their time and talents by performing short vignettes of the captivating story of Maui’s creation from the first Polynesians to the early European explorers and finally to the present.
‘Ulalena features live original music, powerful vocals, traditional hula blended with modern dance, awe-inspiring Hawaiian chant and instrumentation, and stunning acrobatic feats of strength and beauty. Rich costumes create fantastic images drawn from Hawaiian legend and history.

Guests will enjoy an onolicious Hawaiian buffet including a variety of fresh salads, lomi lomi salmon, mahimahi with lemon butter sauce and tropical fruit salsa, hulihuli chicken, kalua pork and a selection of desserts.
Tickets are $85 for adults ($20 is tax-deductible) and $20 for keiki ages ten and under. Call (808) 871-9283 or visit www.halemakua.org.
