FONTANA, Calif. (AP) — Southern California authorities investigating the deaths of two children, a woman and a man in a home say evidence so far indicates a possible murder-suicide.
Fontana police spokeswoman Martha Guzman-Hurtado says, however, that detectives will continue to investigate before coming to that conclusion.
Police responding to the home at 8:30 p.m. Monday found the bodies of a 12-year-old girl, an approximately 10-year-old boy and the two adults between the ages of 30 and 35.
The spokeswoman says the children and woman had multiple gunshot wounds and the man had a single wound to the head. A handgun was found at the scene.
No identities have been released.
