West Maui lawmakers seek support for bills

The well-attended event was sponsored by the county Department of Parks and Recreation, The Water Source, Lahaina Skate Co. and Westside Clothing. The county reported that on Wednesday, July 9, at 6 p.m. at Lahaina Civic Center, Micah Shapiro of Grindline Skateparks Inc. will present the latest conceptual drawings of the West Maui Skatepark. Makana Aloha Foundation helps ag program at Lahainaluna High School
LAHAINA – The first fruits of a grant given to Lahainaluna High School from the Makana Aloha Foundation, working with The Lahainaluna High School Foundation, were immediately apparent with a smiling agricultural instructor, Keith Ideoka, and a repaired John Deere tractor, which will revitalize the Agricultural Program.
